Privacy Policy for StellarFocus

This Privacy Policy explains how StellarFocus ("StellarFocus," "the app," "we," "us," or "our"), provided by SimplyCreative ("the Developer"), handles information when you use our mobile application.

The short version: StellarFocus is built to be private. You don't create an account, and the things you make in the app — your focus sessions, statistics, constellations, presets, and settings — stay on your device. We don't run ads, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

StellarFocus does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other directly identifying personal information to use the app.

We do not:

• Display advertisements.
• Track you across other apps or websites.
• Sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
• Operate our own servers that store your focus data.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

Everything you create and configure in StellarFocus is stored locally on your device, including:

• Your focus and break sessions, and session history.
• Statistics, streaks, daily goals, and focus quality ratings.
• Constellations and Observatory progress.
• Timer presets, selected atmospheres, and app settings.

This data is not transmitted to the Developer. If you delete the app, this locally stored data is removed from your device. This data may be included in your device's own backups (for example, iCloud or Google backups) if you have those features enabled; those backups are governed by Apple's or Google's policies, not ours.

3. Purchases and Subscriptions

StellarFocus offers optional in-app purchases (a one-time "Lifetime" purchase and an auto-renewing "Annual" subscription with a free trial).

• Payment processing is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your payment card details.
• We use RevenueCat to manage and validate purchases and to determine whether your premium access is active.

To manage your purchase, RevenueCat may receive and process:

• An anonymous, randomly generated app user identifier (not linked to your name or email).
• Purchase and transaction history, product identifiers, and subscription status.
• Device and operating system information, app version, country/region, and IP address.

4. Notifications

StellarFocus uses local notifications to show your timer countdown, session reminders, and playback controls. These notifications are generated on your device. You can disable them at any time in your device settings.

5. Third-Party Services

StellarFocus relies on the following third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:

6. Children's Privacy

StellarFocus is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Because your in-app data is stored locally, you are in control of it: you can clear it within the app where supported, or remove it entirely by deleting the app.

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Since we hold only the limited purchase-related data described above (via RevenueCat), you can exercise these rights by contacting us at the email below, and we will respond as required by applicable law. We do not sell personal information.

8. Data Retention

We retain purchase-related records (via RevenueCat and the app stores) for as long as necessary to provide your purchased access, comply with our legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. Locally stored data is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.

9. International Users

The third-party services we use (such as RevenueCat, Apple, and Google) may process and store information on servers located in countries other than your own. By using StellarFocus, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected in the app or its store listing. Your continued use of StellarFocus after an update means you accept the revised policy.
